Richard Zenith simply defines Biography. & the book moves with the grace and economy of a grand film: Opening with 7+ pages of what could be traditional author bios found in the back of a book, he establishes the dramatic boards that this life, small and rich and ultimately vastly beyond itself, will play out on... Its historical anchoring is equally deft never labored and feels essential . One feels that you have walked Lisboa with Mr. Zenith on an afternoon that will be mulled and discussed forever..... you can smell the sardines and pastries- the ocean and the coffee ... and the stories !Poetry resides here ..... if you know Pessoa's work it will sing anew: If you are just encountering this world, if you have an interest or passion for the poetry of the 20th century, it will be forever redefined here.
